Now mute unwanted audio in individual tabs on Google Chrome
Chrome
46 provides you with an option to manually click on the tab and mute the audio
you don’t want to be playing on your system.
Google Chrome’s MuteTab feature, which will put a full stop to the unwanted audio while browsing multiple tabs, is now available for everyone.
The latest build of Chrome provides user with an option to manually click on the tab and mute the audio. All a user needs to do is right-click on the tab which shows the little speaker icon and select the Mute tab option. The audio icon turns into the one with a slash. You can similarly unmute the page using the same extension.
The update does not only saves time but also the effort to physically go to the webpage from where the sound is coming and pausing videos one by one. Google was testing the extension for some time now.
